The world’s largest exhibition dedicated to technological and electronic innovation opens its doors tomorrow in Las Vegas in the United States, and a company from Haute-Loire is participating. Its name: Sportyneo.
The company managed by Johan Gouttefangeas and his partner, Cyril Guigon-Rech, is among the 67 start-ups which will represent the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region at the Consumer electronics show which, at the start of each year, welcomes technological innovations intended to revolutionize the daily tomorrow. Around forty of them will also exhibit their innovations on a collective stand orchestrated by the Region and its partners, until January 10.
Sportyneo will even be one of the ten companies which will present their project to the world press, the day before the opening of the show.
This former high-level footballer and his partner, Cyril Guigon-Rech, met on the pitches of Puy Foot, 20 years ago, and met again a few years ago. Since then, they have never left each other. Their platform, intended for sports associations and their members, allows you to pay your club membership fee directly or to spread your sports expenses by paying, if necessary, in several installments. It also offers associations the possibility of rewarding the loyalty of their members, volunteers and employees by allowing them to benefit from reductions in some 200 everyday brands, all partners of Sportyneo.
Created three years ago, the small company which managed to raise 1.6 million euros last January, has many arguments to seduce all the way to Las Vegas and beyond. This is indeed his intention. A few weeks before the launch of CES, a new fundraiser was to be carried out, with the aim of doubling or even tripling the amount. In this context, the former footballer, Johan Gouttefangeas, planned to travel across the United States, from Los Angeles to Chicago via Atlanta, to meet sports equipment manufacturers, before a stop in Las Vegas. “There is real enthusiasm in the United States and Europe. It is a system that can appeal to many countries,” assures the founder of Sportyneo for whom, “it is an honor and a pride” to participate in the Consumer electronics show. “We are only at the beginning and yet we are one of the selected companies. We are little people from Puy who are going to represent France! “, he rejoices.
