These initiatives are part of the government’s policy to improve access to care in rural areas of the country.

Sierra Leone continues to strengthen its health system with the inauguration of new infrastructure in the Bonthe district, President Julius Maada Bio announced on Friday.

« We are committed to improving health service delivery across the country“, said the Head of State during the inauguration of a cold chain management and national emergency medical services center in Mattru Jong, in the southeast of the country.

These new facilities aim to strengthen vaccination coverage and improve the management of medical emergencies in this district. “ These initiatives will significantly improve vaccination efforts and strengthen ambulance services in the district, ensuring high-quality healthcare“, underlined President Bio.

The inauguration of these infrastructures is part of the government’s efforts to improve access to health care in rural areas of the country.
