End clap last night on M6 for the show “Married at first sight”. Without any real surprise, we now know the couples who have chosen to end their union and those who have decided to stay together.

It’s finish ! Season 8 of MAPR ended (not in style) with a final episode that dragged on. During this assessment, we, the viewers, had to painfully dive back into the beginnings of these relationships which almost all ended in divorce. Whereas, let’s be honest, we just wanted to know if Marie and Jérémy had patched things up or if they were permanently separated.
“At the moment when I see these images it is ultra violent. I am devastated”
Fortunately, Marie and Jérémy did not try to set the table again. Since their last argument, the couple had been dragging too many pots and pans to save the furniture.
And if things didn’t work for the bride and groom who seemed to have fallen in love at first sight during their union, Jérémy’s hurtful words stuck in Marie’s throat.
“At the moment when I see these images it is ultra violent. I am devastated,” she admits upon discovering the scene where her husband speaks in front of the experts during the assessment (…). It destroyed me but you didn’t succeed in making me lose hope,” she confides to Jérémy.
The man who admits to being “without filter” apologized to his ex-wife for his behavior and for having exploded in this way: “I lost a bit of a temper…”.

“I would give a lot to live that day again”
What about the other couples then? Ludivine, full of regrets at having missed out on a “healthy” and composed man, tried everything to see Raphaël again and convince him to give their story a chance. “The match was made straight away,” recalls Ludivine in front of the images of her wedding. It made sense, as if it were normal. That day, I would give a lot to live it again, it was a dream.”
Unfortunately, the scalded cat fears cold water and the young man, despite the months spent far from Ludivine, remembers the cold shower he experienced during his honeymoon. “The chapter is closed,” he concluded after having a coffee with his ex-wife. Same observation for Ophélie and Loïc and the pair formed by Laurie and Jean-Nicolas. Let’s end on a happy note: Alice and Florian, like Tracy and Flo, are still a couple and more in love than ever!
