The funeral of Françoise Hardy took place in the strictest privacy at Père Lachaise on Thursday June 20. Several close friends, celebrities and devoted admirers were present at the funeral, including Marc Lavoine, Étienne Daho, as well as Julien Clerc and his wife Hélène.

The day after the funeral, Thomas Dutronc spoke on Instagram, sharing a photo of the ceremony. “I share with you the songs and sound documents which illustrated the farewell ceremony to the one who was a wonderful mother and an extraordinary artist,” he wrote, admitting to having “hesitated out of modesty” before doing so. .

On his YouTube channel, he posted a video compiling the pieces and extracts from interviews broadcast during the ceremony. “I finally wanted to share this particularly moving moment so that all those who loved him could experience this meditation alongside us. I thank everyone who came to show their affection or their love for her and her songs,” he said.

That’s not all. Thomas Dutronc posted another publication this weekend concerning his mother. While passing through Dunkirk, he captured the chime of the belfry which made the melody of the song “All the boys and girls” resonate throughout the city.

“It’s very moving for me and my family to see all these tributes everywhere… My mother was a little tired of this song,” he confided, adding that everyone constantly spoke to him about this music . “This homage of the carillon to Dunkirk is quite funny…” he concluded.
