The 56-year-old star admits that battling the stiff person syndrome she suffers from is a daily battle.

“We will find, I hope, a miracle, a way to heal,” confides the artist who dreams of returning to the stage.

She is going better. Celine Dion gave her news in a long interview for the magazine French Vogueof which she is also on the cover. “It’s going well, but it’s a lot of work. It’s one day at a time”, admitted the singer. While waiting for the broadcast of his documentary on Prime Video on June 25, the 56-year-old star talks about his daily life marked by illness. And her desire to get back on stage despite the stiff man syndrome from which she has suffered for more than four years and which has kept her away from the public.

“Athletic, physical and vocal” therapy

“I did not fight the disease, it is still in me and forever. We will find, I hope, a miracle, a way to cure it with scientific research, but I must learn to live with it”admits Céline Dion who explains following “athletic, physical and vocal therapy” five days a week.

“I work on the toes as much as the knees, the calves, the fingers, the singing, the voice,” specifies the artist who also says he has stopped questioning himself and feeling sorry for himself. “I have two choices. Either I train like an athlete and I work really hard or I disconnect and that’s it, I stay at home (…) and I sing to myself.”
