And for the actor, if there is ONE superhero film above all others, it is Wolverine’s last adventure directed by James Mangold, as he confided to Total Film :

Movies [Deadpool et Logan] were completely complementary to each other. Deadpool offered something different, and right after it, Logan was potentially the greatest comic book adaptation ever made.

Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds first crossed paths on set for the filming of the formidable X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) in which Reynolds already played Deadpool. Jackman quickly taken under his wing this young actor who at the time wanted to do well for his first appearance in a big production.

And because he loves Jackman and Logan so much, when Reynolds was working on a Deadpool 3, he obviously tried to convince his friend to reprise the role of Wolverine, to whom he had given a magnificent ending in Logan, by hanging up his claws. However, he will return to them in Deadpool & Wolverine, the only Marvel film planned this year, which will be released in theaters on July 24.
