This is good news for PCists. The carrying of The Last of Us Part II escape, and reveals itself via EpicDB, a new database equivalent to SteamDB.
PlayStation exclusive, The Last of Us Part II is one of the flagship productions of the Naughty Dog studio. Released on June 19, 2020 on PS4, the title received numerous distinctionsleading it to be among the most important games in the industry.
After having conquered the hearts of console players, the adventures ofEllie and Abby could soon affect that of the PCists. Indeed, many questions surrounding the porting of Part II have been put back on the table in recent days. For good reason, new leaks invade and question the web.
The PC version of The Last of Us Part II leaked
It’s June 2024, and the Dogs still haven’t communicated the PC version of The Last of Us Part IIeven if rumors hinted at an announcement in April. However, we have learned, via recent leaksthat the project is indeed underway at the red-paw studio.
EpicDB, a new equivalent of SteamDB for Epic Games, was created to share, among other things, useful information about games from the Epic Games Store. He has recently leaked numerous projects Sony, Rockstar GamesSquare Enix, Bethesda and Sega.
Classified under different code names, some of them have, to this day, never been made official by their studio. Among the titles disclosed, we find in particular the PC port of Red Dead Red Redemption (“Semla”) and of The Last of Us Part II (“ Utah“ ).
This leak confirms the upcoming arrival of a PC version of The Last of Us Part II. On the other hand, let’s keep in mind that this should be taken with a grain of salt until Naughty Dog formalizes the project. However, note that the EpicDB website is inaccessible at the moment. This could therefore underline an element of veracity as well as a security breach.
