BEAUNE: Reopening of the Hôtel de la Poste

The emblematic establishment of Beaune regains its Art Deco panache.

A former 17th century coaching inn, L’Hôtel de la Poste has become over time an emblematic façade of Beaune’s hotel industry. Bought in 2005 by Najeti Hôtels & Golfs collection, the four-star hotel reopens after 4 months of work and 2 million euros of investment.

The key: a comprehensive renovation that reconnects with the Art Deco spirit of the period layout, and the creation of 3 apartments, to offer a hybrid offering that meets the new expectations of travelers.

A historic address

Located at the entrance to the historic center, just 100 meters from the Hospices, the market halls and the listed houses of the old town, the Hotel de la Poste offers an easily accessible stopover, between the north and the south of France, and an ideal base for discovering the treasures of Burgundy.

A renovation respectful of the hotel’s Art Deco heritage

After the restoration of the facade completed in 2023, the second phase of work entrusted to interior designer Valérie Dhénin revisits all of the buildings. His project is based on Art Deco elements inherited from the 1930s (ironwork of the doors, stairwell and elevator, black and white checkerboard floor and parquet, walnut woodwork of the bar).
