Present in the casting of “Secret Story” season 12 on TF1, actor Kelyan Blanc lent his voice to Harry Potter in the 8 episodes of the magical saga, but not only that. Focus on his career in dubbing.

“I am the French voice of the most famous wizard in the world.”

This is how one of the candidates for the new season of Secret Story introduced himself, which began last night on TF1. Dubbing fans all already know this candidate, since it is Kelyan Blanc, famous for having lent his voice to Daniel Radcliffe, aka Harry Potter, in the 8 parts of the magical saga.

From 2001 and until today (since he continues to vocally accompany the character in his various television or video game appearances), this 36-year-old French actor who also works as a nurse therefore followed the start of the school year of Harry at Hogwarts, his meetings with Ron and Hermione, his confrontations with the terrible Voldemort, and each of his many adventures on the big screen.

Harry Potter, but not only

But this magical adventure (which he will endeavor to keep secret as long as possible on TF1) is far from being the only (vocal) string that Kelyan Blanc has to his bow.

Indeed, after the end of the Harry Potter saga (which ended in July 2011), he continued to voice Daniel Radcliffe in several of his projects such as The Lady in Black, Horns and Escape from Pretoria, even if the actor Hugo Brunswick (French voice of Tom Holland) sometimes relayed it, for example in Doctor Frankenstein or in The Secret of the Lost City.

In addition to Harry Potter, Kelyan Blanc can also boast of having lent his voice to another famous pop culture character, since in 2002, it was he who played young Boba Fett (played by Daniel Logan) in The Attack of the Clones, Episode II of the Star Wars saga.

Kelyan Blanc at Disney and in animation

We could also hear him in the roles of Rusty Duritz (opposite Bruce Willis in Sale Môme), Darren Shan in The Vampire’s Assistant and Oliver in the series Hannah Montana.

On the animation side, he participated in the series Kim Possible (in the role of Wallace), as well as in the redubs of two essential Disney productions: Mickey’s Christmas, in which he played Tiny Tim, and Beauty and the Beast, in lending his voice to the adorable Zip.

More recently, it is also Kelyan Blanc who you could hear in the role of Stark if you discovered the excellent anime Frieren in French version.
