After a wintery and gray weekendbut without precipitation, the weather will change this week from Monday January 20 to Sunday January 26, 2025, according to Météo-France forecasts. While temperatures struggled to exceed 0°C, a flow bringing air relatively soft but also precipitation and wind will set in in Paris and Île-de-France.

The level of the Seine to monitor

Before this shift, the soleil will show itself in breakthroughs this Monday, with temperatures between 1°C and 4°C. As a result, the mercury will be better in the evening. But things will get seriously complicated this Wednesday, January 22.

Precipitation in showers will fall. The atmosphere will be relatively gentlewith maximums of 11°C expected. A scenario which should be repeated this Thursday January 23, Friday January 24 and Saturday January 25. The thermometer could be located in 8°C and 13°C. For its part, the wind will blow quite strongly, with gusts of 60 km/h expected at dawn of the weekend.

In this context, it will be necessary to monitor the level of the Seine. In Paris, the river had risen up to 3.6 meters high, overflowing on certain platforms, noted the flow meter located near the Austerlitz station. After a yellow alert, the height fell below 2.75 meters at the end of the week, noted Vigicrues.
