Under the theme “The Timeless Echoes of Moroccan Music: Morocco at the crossroads of Cultures”, the third edition of the FMMA, organized by the Moroccan Association of Andalusian Music (AMMA), promises an immersion in the rich and diversity of Andalusian music, bringing together talented artists and renowned orchestras from different regions of Morocco and elsewhere.
This edition honors emblematic figures of Andalusian music, such as Badr Rami, Mohamed Briouel, Kamal Lmimouni, and Mohamed Asri. Alongside them, artists such as Sanaa Marahati, Zainab Afailal, Driss Berrada, Hamza Amazgar, and Ahmed Marbouh will offer memorable performances.
The festival will also welcome international guests, including Antonio Seguro, Estrella, José Ligero, and Clipet Laurent known as “El Titi”. The participation of Rajaâ Dussart will bring an exceptional touch to this artistic celebration.
The FMMA, which has become an unmissable cultural event, brought together more than 9,000 enthusiasts during its two previous editions. It illustrates, we read in a press release, “the unifying power of music and its role in preserving cultural heritage».
« The Moroccan Andalusian Music Festival embodies the vibrant soul of our heritage and illustrates the unifying power of music. Through this 3rd edition, we celebrate not only a timeless art, but also a culture that transcends borders and unites hearts », Underlines Fatima Mabchour, founding president of AMMA.
Since its creation, AMMA has strived to promote the diversity and richness of Moroccan Andalusian music. The association actively works to preserve this heritage by initiating artistic programs and establishing cultural bridges between Morocco and other countries.
