Laughter, theater and music at the Ombrière in Uzès in January

The first part of the Ombrière cultural season came to an end at the beginning of December with music. The second part resumes in January and laughter is guaranteed!

A comedy to start the year

Sunday January 12

It’s a comedy by Virginie Caloone, with a direction by Bénédicte Bailby entitled “Pas de ça chez moi” that Uzégeois will be able to discover on Sunday January 12.

This is the story of Caroline Monfort, bestselling author and godmother of LGBTQUIA+ movements. She is invited to promote her new book “My brother is homosexual and I am proud of it!”.

The arrival of her brother, Philippe, then of her husband Denis, will make the wait in the boxes more than electric. Has the moment of truth come? What if Philippe was no longer gay? What if, Denis, her husband was no longer really who he claims? What if, ultimately, Caroline wasn’t that tolerant? The promise of having a good Sunday full of laughter.

At 5:30 p.m. Prices: from €17 to €27.

The “Little Prince” at l’Ombrière

Tuesday January 14

According to “The Little Prince” by Antoine de Saint-Exupéryl’Ombrière invites you to discover “Le Petit prince Slam!”, Tuesday January 14 by the slammer Fafapunk and the musician-composer Tomislav Matosin.

Together, they embody the characters of Saint-Exupéry’s novel. They bring this story to the stage to reveal its philosophical value and poetic charge. And it is with a precise and sober staging, embellished with a scenography and lighting which suggest, more than they represent, the universe of the “Little Prince”.

A funny and moving moment of theater and music, which is also aimed at young and old alike.

At 7:30 p.m. Prices: from 12 to 22 €.

From l’Ombrière to with music

January 25 and 26

At the end of January, L’Ombrière will take spectators into a completely different universe. As part of its fall/winter programming, Les Nuits musicales offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in the tunes and waltzes from Vienna by Johann Strauss with the Choir and Orchestra of the Royal Opera Stefan Plewniak Saturday January 25 and Sunday January 26.

At 8:30 p.m. on Saturday and 5 p.m. on Sunday. Prices: from 25 to 45 €. Info: lombriere.fr
