Skiing, sledding and fondue…but not only that! The winter season in Vars is also marked by major events. Between opening the season with a major concert and championships, the years 2024-2025 promise to be rich.
The first unmissable event of winter is naturally the BigFlo and Oli concert on December 14 to open the station. At the end of January, Vars will be the setting for the Speed Ski World Cup. The resort hosts major winter events until March.

Outdoor Winter Festival – January 17 to 19, 2025
The Outdoormix Winter Festival returns to Vars for its 6th edition with an enriched formula combining extreme sports and concerts.
On the sports side, visitors will be able to attend demonstrations of jumpline, snowkayak or even mountain biking on snow. The assurance of being amazed by the performances of the pro-riders!
As for entertainment, snowkayak, ski touring and fat biking will be offered as an introduction, and a big derby from the summit of Mayt will be organized. A games library will also be available in the event village, including ice pétanque, snow volleyball, giant wooden games and ice sculpture. And in the evening, it’s time for the party and concerts under the big top!
