“Newtopia” brings us new images of JISOO (BLACKPINK)!
Formerly called “Influenza”, “Newtopia” is a zombie drama in which we will notably find JISOO and Park Jung Min in the main roles.
The drama's script is co-written by Han Ji Won (who worked on “Parasite”) and Ji Ho Jin, and is based on an original story by Han Sang Woon. The drama will tell the story of a soldier who breaks up with his girlfriend just before the world is hit by a zombie apocalypse.
Park Jung Min plays Lee Jae Yoon, a 26-year-old man in the middle of military service who has tried to avoid military drafting for many years. Worried and anxious in his relationship, he breaks up with his girlfriend for both their sakes, but a zombie apocalypse hits the world soon after, putting things into perspective.
As for JISOO, she plays the role of Kang Young Joo, the girlfriend in question, who had just found her first job after graduating from an engineering school but who now has to face hordes of zombies to be able to find her boyfriend .
Today, a trailer was revealed.
