The National Agency for Civil Aviation and Meteorology (ANACIM) of Senegal has issued its weather bulletin No. 006, valid from January 6, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. to January 7, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. According to these forecasts, the sky will be mostly clear over most of Senegal’s territory over the next 24 hours.
The hot weather will be less marked in the interior of the country, particularly on the coast and in the northern regions, where temperatures will be relatively mild. Cool night and morning temperatures will prevail across the country, with minimum temperatures below 20°C. Visibilities will be generally good and the winds will be mainly from the northeast, of low to moderate intensity.
Regarding the forecast by region, here are the details:
In Thiès (Tivaouane), the sky will be clear with mild weather, temperatures between 19°C and 25°C, and fairly strong north to northeast winds. In Mbour, the weather will be hot with temperatures between 15°C and 33°C, and fairly strong north to northeast winds.
In Saint-Louis (Bango) and Dagana, the sky will be clear with mild weather, temperatures between 16°C and 30°C, and fairly strong north to northeast winds. In Louga, the sky will be clear with mild weather, temperatures between 14°C and 32°C, and fairly strong north to northeast winds. In Podor, the weather will be mild with temperatures between 15°C and 31°C, and weak to moderate north to northeast winds. In Linguère, the weather will be hot with temperatures between 18°C and 32°C, and weak to moderate north to northeast winds.
In Diourbel, the sky will be clear with warm weather, temperatures between 15°C and 33°C, and weak to moderate north to northeast winds. In Kaffrine, the sky will be clear with warm weather, temperatures between 14°C and 34°C, and weak to moderate north to northeast winds.
In Fatick, the sky will be clear with warm weather, temperatures between 14°C and 33°C, and fairly strong north to northeast winds. In Kaolack, the sky will be clear with warm weather, temperatures between 16°C and 34°C, and weak to moderate north to northeast winds.
In Tambacounda (Koumpentoum), the sky will be clear with hot weather, temperatures between 17°C and 35°C, and weak to moderate north to northeast winds. In Matam, the sky will be clear with mild weather, temperatures between 14°C and 32°C, and weak to moderate north to northeast winds. In Goudiry and Bakel, the weather will be hot with temperatures between 16°C and 34°C, and weak to moderate north to northeast winds.
In Kédougou, the sky will be clear with warm weather, temperatures between 20°C and 35°C, and weak to moderate north to northeast winds. In Kolda, the sky will be clear with warm weather, temperatures between 14°C and 33°C, and weak to moderate north to northeast winds.
In Ziguinchor (Bignona), the sky will be clear with mild weather, temperatures between 16°C and 31°C, and moderate to fairly strong north to northeast winds. In Sédhiou, the sky will be clear with warm weather, temperatures between 17°C and 34°C, and weak to moderate north to northeast winds. At Cap Skirring, the weather will be mild with temperatures between 18°C and 32°C, and fairly strong north to northeast winds.
