Dakar, January 5 (APS) – Thiès FC dominated Essamaye FC with a score of 3 goals to 1, Saturday, at the Maniang Soumaré stadium, in a match counting for the 10th day of the Ligue 2 football championship.
Essamaye FC, the club from Ziguinchor, records its second defeat, but temporarily retains the lead in the ranking before the exit of its runner-up Stade de Mbour, this Sunday, against the Diambars of Saly.
Dakar University Club (DUC) and AS Bambey recorded important victories on Saturday. The Dakar students beat AS Kaffrine by 2 goals to 1, while AS Bambey surprised AS Douanes by the same score; A success which allows the Bambey team to provisionally take third place in the championship. Etoile Lusitana and CNEPS Excellence neutralized each other with zero goals everywhere.
