Some closed their doors on Christmas Eve. Others played overtime until the last hours of the year 2024. But, for the most part, Christmas entertainment are completed in the Tarn.

This is the case with the largest Christmas market in the department, that of , as well as that of the prefecture, . But this is also the case in Gaillac, Mazamet or Graulhet. The same goes for the sound and light shows. The famous light frescoes of Castres or the mapping on the cathedral of Albi have pressed “off”.

But the festive spirit is still there in Albi. The illuminations, the giant tree, the wooden games, Santa Claus… All that remained in 2024 and will not return before November and December in 2025. Four activities remain. And not just any ones.

Indeed, certain attractions in the prefecture play extra time. This is the case the little train on Place du Vigan and the mini roller coaster at Place Lapérouse. They will be accessible from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. this Saturday January 4 and from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. this Sunday January 5.

As well as the ferris wheel on the square in front of the Grand Théâtre (at the same times), which allows you to see the city from 50 m high. A you panoramic carousel at the National Garden, which offers a breathtaking panorama just below, 45m high. And it’s dizzying for some…
