During the municipal council meeting, the last of the year 2024, Gérard Kepa mayor of Potigny () returned to the burning issue of future rescue center.

In agreement with the representatives of the Departmental Fire and Rescue Union (SDIS) who came to recognize the location, the municipality is making available, without financial compensation, a plot of land of 4,000 m².

It is located at the entrance to the Ariana zone, near the first building on the right coming from the Suvez room.

When will the first stone be laid?

The city council unanimously voted for this decision. The mayor is talking about a file that should go very quickly for a building permit to be filed within the year. Responsible for the rescue center, Lieutenant Thomas Busquet is delighted with “this certain progress”.
