THE February 10 and 11, 2025 hosts the Summit for Action on Artificial Intelligence (AI), bringing together in governments, international organizations, businesses of all sizes, academics, artists and all of civil society. This Summit will focus on concrete actions to ensure that the development and deployment of AI benefits our societies, our economies and the environment. It is in the general interest and respect for the common good.

Nutrition for Growth Summit

The year 2025 marks the end of the United Nations decade of action on Nutrition. France will host in Paris, March 27 and 28, 2025the next edition of the “Nutrition for Growth” Summit, a crucial opportunity to continue the dynamic initiated in Japan in 2021.

This high-level summit will advocate for ambitious financial and political commitments and promote dialogue among diverse actors around the world in support of nutrition and to achieve the goals set by the Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development United.

Third United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC-3)

France and Costa Rica organize the third United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC-3) from June 9 to 13, 2025. Ten years after COP21 and the Paris Agreement, this conference will bring together in all United Nations Member States, specialized agencies, civil society, the private sector and international donors to respond to the challenges of the ocean.

This third edition has the main theme: “Accelerate action and mobilize all stakeholders to conserve and sustainably use the ocean”. It will strengthen the protection and sustainable use of the ocean, seas and their resources, and contribute to implementing the priorities of Sustainable Development Goal 14 (SDG 14) dedicated to the ocean. UNOC-3 will be a decisive step in establishing new governance for the ocean.
