Villeneuve-sur-Lot. A strong end to the season for Villeneuvois athletics

The Villeneuvois Athletics stadium once again stood out during the Marmande Fourgues cross country race, feeling like home.

Bastide athletes continue to reap quality results, marking an exceptional end to the year which promises to be a good start to President Schiefer's new mandate. He, for his part, attributes these successes to coaches of all disciplines, whether on the track, indoors, cross country or outside the stadium. The young athletes stood out with peak performances.

The success of chicks and chicks

Among the chicks, we find Frery Younes in first place, followed by Hermet Loan in third and Gicquel Samuel in fourth position.

As for the chicks, the competition was just as brilliant: Chabert Sixtine took first place, Devy Eva and Gourves Alanna completed the podium in second and third positions.

And these two teams rank first.

The youngest girls also distinguished themselves by finishing first as a team, with Luna D Oliveira coming fourth, Chloé Laurent sixth and El Chenaoui Manel eleventh.

For the junior girls, Hermet Emy placed second, while Romane Bernardou finished seventh.

In the junior boys' category, Yvann Rey continues his series of victories, and Baptiste Gangarz climbs to fifth place.

The surprise of the day comes from the victory of Aurell Guillet among the cadets, while Zélie Caballe takes the first step of the cadet podium.

Marie-Laure Touchefeux also won in senior, adding a good line to her list of achievements.

This year ends on a royal note, and we hope that 2025 will bring new stars to the future Myre-Mory track.

The Villeneuvois athletics stadium ESVMAC wishes everyone an excellent end of the year and is preparing for new adventures in 2025.
