It is with immense happiness that the members of the Ski Club Tarasconnais welcomed the heavy snowfall a few weeks before the school holidays. “We were waiting for them with impatience and a little anxiety in view of previous years. And now we are delighted,” comments Yvan Serrano, the president, displaying a beautiful smile after the first outing of the season.
Sunday December 22, the club went to “its” favorite resort, in Ascou-Pailhères. The opportunity for beginners, advised and accompanied by the Ski-Club team, to discover alpine skiing. Experienced riders, they didn't need to be asked to quickly descend the slopes masterfully prepared by the professionals of the Haute Ariège and Vallées d'Ax resort. The Tarascon kids, even if they are not, for the moment, ready to challenge the world leadership of Perrine Laffont, child of the Pays de Tarascon, were able to demonstrate all their talent, and above all have a lot of fun. For the latecomers, those who were waiting to see if the white gold was there, a final reception for registrations is scheduled for Saturday, January 4 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., at the Maison des associations de Tarascon, ” Espace Sabart”, in the club room.
Several outings are planned. Remember that, to allow as many people as possible to have access to skiing, the association accepts payment with holiday vouchers and also takes “sport coupons”. It is also possible to pay for membership in several installments.
