From January 25 to 27, the Parc Floral de Paris will host a new edition of the Playtime Paris show. Organized by the Picaflor company, the professional event dedicated to the world of children will bring together 280 brands from 37 countries.
The show's offering gives pride of place to fashion and accessories brands which represent 72% of exhibitors with names like Bobo Choses, The New Society, Mini Rodini and even American Vintage and Rive Droite Paris. Footwear players represent 14% of exhibitors with Veja, Bopy and Pom d'Api. Finally, 14% of labels offer decoration, toys, care or well-being products, and childcare. An offer that wants to reflect the current market “and takes into account the expectations of parents and children in terms of style, covering all ages, and with a wide range of prices, while maintaining the premium quality that children need “, explain the organizers of the show.
In addition to the selection of brands, Playtime Paris offers a conference on future trends, orchestrated by the Fashion Snoops agency, as well as three spaces to guide buyers through the trends. The Creative Studio space welcomes around ten illustrators. Note that if France, followed by Spain and the Netherlands, form the top 3 countries most represented among exhibitors, the United States enters the top 10 for the first time.
While the children's market remains very turbulent, the show is strengthening its range of services to support brands and buyers. So for the first time in Paris, they will be able to meet a children's fashion and lifestyle expert from Fashion Snoops during individual meetings. Members of the Playtime team will also be available early in the afternoon to interact with buyers and support them in their selection and construction of their offer, while the founder of the Kidding press agency, specialized in the children's universe will receive brands by appointment to decipher current practices of press relations and influence.
After Paris, the Playtime & Kid's Hub New York show will open its doors from February 9 to 11, 2025 at the Metropolitan Pavilion.
