Some good leaves to make your mouth water.

A riddle to start 2025 on the right foot? What important event for the Channel happened on January 26, 1969? It takes place in the world of horses and it's a feat that has never been repeated since. That day, Henri Levesque, owner and trainer of horses in Beuzevile-la-Bastille, won his 5th Prix d'Amérique with Upsalin.
Another one ? January 12, 2009 in Saint-Lô? That day, all of France learned that the Manche prefecture was not the quiet little town that President Sarkozy thought it was: he learned this the hard way…
The first evening at the Cherbourg theater? January 28, 1882. The arrival of Acadian settlers in Cherbourg? January 17, 1760. Do you remember that a player licensed in a club in Cotentin has already won a major tennis tournament on the ATP circuit? No ? So, we will have to wait until February 14 to find out more about Yahiya Doumbia's victory in in 1988.
And by the way, what was the name of the last supertanker that came to Cherbourg in 1977 to carry out its tests? See you in our February 19 edition…
March 11? It's not that far away, but what year was that mega-snowstorm that blocked the entire department for almost a week? Answer to the question in a few weeks…
And in the meantime, there are already the first two days of this 365 days in the Channel series in today's edition…
