Journalist

Passionate about sport, cinema and television (on screen and behind) since his childhood, Bernard has been a journalist for 10 Sport since 2018. More skilled with the keyboard in hand than with the ball on his feet, he decides to mainly cover a beloved sport, criticized and hated at the same time (football) and a sport that is not one (wrestling).

Flagship player of Saint-Germain between 2012 and 2023, Marco Verratti has a total of 30 titles under the red and blue colors. It is now one less than Marquinhos, winner of the Champions Trophy this Sunday against AS Monaco (1-0). The Brazilian defender thus enters the history of PSG, but also of French football.

The Paris Saint-Germain went to win its first title of the year 2025 in Qatar, with the Champions Trophy won against AS Monaco. Ousmane Dembélé allowed the capital club to secure victory in the final seconds of regulation time, a historic success for Marquinhos.

An additional title for Marquinhos

Indeed, as pointed out by PSG on its website, its captain has become the most successful footballer of the capital club, but also in the history of French football. Marquinhos now totals 31 trophies with: 9 French championship titles, 7 Coupe de , 6 Coupe de la Ligue and therefore 9 Champions Trophy since his signing at Paris Saint-Germain in 2013.

Verratti is beaten

Marco Verratti is therefore beaten, with 30 trophies during his eleven years at PSG. Thiago Silva (23), Presnel Kimpembe (23) et Edinson Cavani (21) follow behind. Marquinhos replaces the Italian at the top of this prestigious ranking and can increase his lead in the coming months with a new coronation taking shape in Ligue 1, a seventh Coupe de France or even a first Champions League, the big objective of the PSG since the arrival of the Qataris.
