A car is the only cause. The accident occurred around 1:45 a.m. on the RD30 in Gonsans towards Baume les Dames. Arriving on scene, firefighters discovered four 19-year-olds. A seriously injured young man was treated and evacuated to the Besançon University Hospital as well as another, more lightly injured in the accident.
A fifth person present in the vehicle had left the scene of the intervention before the arrival of emergency services, the firefighters specified in their bulletin. A gendarmerie investigation has been opened to determine the causes of this accident.
