France 2 invites you to celebrate the new year with the “Grande Soirée du 31 de Paris”. Hosted by Stéphane Bern, the show will welcome a host of artists to be discovered live from the Champs-Élysées, but also in several emblematic places in the capital. Once again, France 2 celebrate the start of the new year! This Tuesday December 31, 2024the France Télévisions channel is joining forces with the City of Paris to offer “ The Great Evening of Paris 31 “, a New Year’s Eve party “ grandiose, popular and eclectic » broadcast live from the Champs-Élysées. After setting up its cameras in Chantilly, Versailles and Fontainebleau, France 2 relied on the most beautiful avenue in the world last year as a setting; an emblematic place that France Televisions has therefore decided to reinvest this December 31, 2024. Objective? Party and celebrate the new year in style, but also relive the best moments of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
From 9:10 p.m., France 2 will gradually raise the temperature. Once again at the helm Stéphane Bern. The famous presenter will host this great evening where many artists are expected. For the occasion, some of them will perform live in front of the numerous spectators present on the Champs-Élysées. This will be particularly the case for David Hallydayof Chimene Badi accompanied by 100 singers, the troupe of Stars 80of Mixed collectiveof Lio, Cerrone, Dany Brillant, Titouan of Junior Eurovision with the Petites Mains Symphoniques, or the group Imagination.
Several others stage and musical performances will be discovered throughout the show. Pre-recorded or live, these performances can be followed from several emblematic places in the capital. In particular, are announced Kendji Girac, Jenifer, Michel Fugainthe Sun King troop, Yanns, Jean-Louis Aubert, Santa, Chico and the Gypsies, Amir, Keblack and Franglish, Eddy de Pretto, K-love…
That evening, viewers will also be able to find, behind their television sets, the dancers of the Moulin Rouge a you Paradis Latinas well as circus companies Phoenix and Folies Gruss.
To top it off, from 11:50 p.m., France Télévisions will broadcast a 3D video-mapping show projected onto the Arc de Triomphe. Lasting 10 minutes, it “will evoke a Paris with many faces“. Finally, from midnight, it's time for traditional fireworks offered by the City of Paris. For about 10 minutes, “the Arc de Triomphe and the night of Paris will burst into flames to open the year 2025 with the most beautiful message“, announces France Télévisions in a press release published on December 10.
