The Christmas holidays have barely passed when we are transported to new festivities: those of Carnival. The carnival will kick off this Friday, January 3, with the opening of Mas Espo Val, in Pointe-à-Pitre.
Carnival is coming soon! The Group for Culture and Carnival in the Pontoise region (GCCRP) had already unveiled, a few days ago, the provisional program for the 2025 edition of the Guadeloupe carnival.
The launch of this 2025 edition will be on January 3, with the Mas expo Val opening which will take place at the pavilion of the city of Pointe-à-Pitre.
The festivities will continue until Shrovetide on March 4 and 5. A year which will be rich in new features including the presence of the dancer Jek Unik who will offer the Guadeloupe opening Carnival.

A collaboration between Unik Dancers and the Group for culture and carnival in the Point region (GCCRP) which will materialize in the fun mas parade, a parade of floats in the streets of Pointe-à-Pitre on January 5.
