A discovery tour of the Cévennes from Anduze to Saint-Jean-du-Gard, aboard an authentic steam train from the beginning of the last century. A stop at the Bambouseraie will allow you to visit the park.
Camboux Lake. Nestled in an exceptional green setting, the nautical base welcomes you on the banks of Lake Camboux in Sainte-Cécile-d'Andorge, just 15 minutes from Alès. The Beaver House. It is the perfect place to discover the fascinating world of the beaver and the beauty of the Gorges du Gardon. With its fun-educational space, its relaxation zone and its green theater, it is an ideal outing for the whole family.
For those who wish, guided tours are offered on the site or nearby in the natural areas of the Gardon gorges. A friendly-looking animal, the beaver has not always been protected. Between Cévennes and dry spells, the beaver thrives in riparian vegetation made up of willows and poplars. And it is from these trees that our furball will feed. Rarely going far from the river, the animal leaves behind signs of presence visible from the beaches of Gardon. Around it, a rich and exceptional biodiversity gravitates to form a complex ecosystem. Throughout your visit, the museum space accompanies you to discover and understand the environment of the Gardon gorges.
The old farmhouse. Favorite, the Old Mas welcomes you in an exceptional rural setting. Visiting a farm with family is always a great success! You will learn more about life in the rural world, farm trades, and its human and agricultural activities. A snack or a tasting can also be offered to you, the opportunity to taste local products and local specialties while discovering their manufacturing secrets.

Abbey of Saint-Roman. Go and discover, through self-guided or guided tours, the troglodyte Abbey of Saint-Roman at the top of a hill overlooking the Rhône. A veritable rock necropolis which houses hundreds of burials dug into the rock. These vestiges of monastic life are unique in Western Europe.
The Abbey of Saint-Roman is a Historic Monument which houses the remains of a monastery founded before the 10th century. Chapel and cells, cisterns and storerooms, these vestiges of troglodyte monastic life are unique in Western Europe. A veritable rock necropolis hosts hundreds of burials dug into the rock. From the guarded parking lot, a path takes you through the Mediterranean scrubland to the top of the limestone hill. A magnificent panorama is offered over the Rhône facing the Alpilles, with a unique view of the river and Provence.
Le Seaquarium. In summer as in winter, the Seaquarium of Grau du Roi – Port Camargue is an excellent idea for a family outing to discover the magic of the marine world! More than 200 species of fish, seals, sea lions and more than 25 species of sharks… Wow! The advantage of the Seaquarium is that it can combine a fun visit with a stroll on the beach located a few meters away.
