Leïla Kaddour-Boudadi and Nagui, the duo of The original soundtrack on France Inter, invite you for an exceptional evening with Les Bravos d'or, a unique event from the prestigious Théâtre Marigny in Paris, this Wednesday January 1, 2025 at 9:10 p.m., on France 2. “For the first time, a retrospective of all the events of the year is combined with a ceremony which will reward the greatest successes of the past year, without going through votes or juries: everything is based on objective and indisputable criteria “announced the group. The Bravos d'or will be awarded based on concrete figures, such as theatrical admissions, book sales, television audiences, podcast listening but also streaming downloads to reward those who have really won over the public.
18 rewarded categories
Only one category was nevertheless submitted to a vote, that of “Special congratulations of the year 2024“, for which the readers of Le Parisien / Today in France made their choice. The question asked? “Who do you think is the personality who particularly shone this year, and who deserves a Bravo d’or?”. 18 categories have been planned for this occasion: cinema, musical comedy, concert, export record, TV entertainment, TV event, Platform fiction, TV fiction, literature, original podcast, radio podcast, web program, radio, show comedy, music streaming, plays and record sales.
The opportunity to revisit the year 2024
France 2 indicates that “This first edition promises to be an unmissable event, a true celebration of cultural successes which have touched, captivated and excited as many people as possible”. And Nagui explained at a press conference: “I hope that we will make a chic and popular show. It's all in the title: saying 'bravo', that sums up the popular side and the 'gold', the best. The only judge is the public. It's an opportunity to revisit the year 2024 while being as objective as possible. We're talking about TF1, M6, France Télévisions. We're a whole bunch of France Inter, but we're also talking about RMC and Europe. 1 and RTL We are not in polemics We are not in hot news, we have more perspective, already with a bit of nostalgia for the year which is ending..
A unique trophy designed for the occasion
Each winner will be presented with an 8 kg trophy, sculpted for the occasion with two golden hands, one female, one male, applauding. Nagui's idea comes from an observation made over the years about the importance of having an object that lasts over time. “I have had a lot of Golden 7s (television trophies awarded between 1975 and 2003) in my life and I have to polish them regularly,” laughs Nagui. “It turns green, it turns, it turns, it’s fragile. There, I wanted it to be a beautiful object that the artists would be proud of“, he told Le Parisien. And Leïla Kaddour-Boudadi reacted: “Giving prizes to what has been the most consumed is a way of saying that we are looking at the same thing as the public, it’s a great idea. I have seen almost everything that has been rewarded , I'm quite happy”.
See you this Wednesday, January 1 at 9:10 p.m. on France 2 for Les Bravos d’or.
