A fire at Rouen Cathedral
The plume of smoke worried more than one on July 11. A fire broke out on the spire of Rouen Cathedral. An impressive vision which made people fear the worst. There was certainly damage but the accidental disaster did not affect the structure of the building.
An iconic restaurant must close
A true institution for 54 years, the Berbère restaurant in Rouen had to close for two months due to an administrative sanction. The establishment known for its oriental cuisine received'a closure for breaches of the Labor Code (hidden work and employment of foreigners not authorized to work). A heavy decision that the restaurateur contested with the administrative court.
Dramatic accident
On July 13, a 54-year-old man died in a tragic accident in The Leafy. A tractor and its tipper ended up lying on a secondary road and the driver was ejected.
Death of Célya
On July 12, the kidnapping alert is triggered to find little Célya, aged 6, kidnapped in Caudebec-en-Caux by her mother's companion. Unfortunately, the girl was found dead. His stepfather, suspected of the murder, was first interned and then indicted at the end of the year.
The cliff collapses
