Under the presidency of the mayor of Vézac Jean-Luc Lentier, eight deliberations were all adopted. “The 2024 budget will be respected and the self-financing capacity of the municipality will be preserved, also taking into account the fact that certain expected subsidies have not yet been paid,” indicated the mayor.

Municipal rates as of January 1, 2025

Overall, municipal prices on January 1, 2025 will remain unchanged compared to 2024 except for the social pricing of the canteen where the price scale takes into account the family quotient of families (QF). The same applies to Wednesday morning daycare rates.

Due to the increase in the price of food and energy, the prices of meals in nursing homes have increased by around 4%.

CABA Cycling tour

The 18th CABA Cycling Tour organized by the ACVA plans two stages in the territory of the commune of Vézac on April 26 and 27, 2025. An exceptional subsidy of €2,000 has been decided in order to contribute to the organizational costs and safety rules of the race which are imposed.

DETR 2025

The municipality wants to continue the program of major road repairs for the year 2025 in order to increase the lifespan of its road network by developing the municipal road of Rouziers and rue de Langogne. The planned work consists of the reprofiling and strengthening of these two municipal roads and their shoulders.

This program, which amounts to €106,600, is likely to benefit from a subsidy under the DETR and assistance from the Department according to the forecast financing plan which is presented and provides for self-financing for the municipality of €63,960, i.e. 60%.

Photovoltaic project

The feasibility study concerns the installation of photovoltaic panels on all of the pétanque courts after covering them using a structure to be built upstream and on a courtyard which would be built as an extension of the multi-purpose room.

Contacts will be made with operators present in this market to have elements of comparison relating to the upstream technical feasibility study, the financial package and the type of contract which will be proposed for debate in the municipal council. Following the mayor's presentation, it was decided to continue this approach according to the method that had been defined.

Renewable energy acceleration zones

The mayor presents the areas identified in the municipality as acceleration zones for the development of renewable energies as well as the arguments which led to these proposals. The plots concerned by photovoltaics on buildings or on the ground mainly consist of surfaces located on the roofs of public, agricultural or industrial buildings or those on non-agricultural ground which are likely to receive panels.

The purpose of the deliberation taken is to validate these choices, numbering around eight, and to bring them to the attention of the Cantal prefect in order to submit them for examination of the renewable energy projects necessary for the energy transition of the Cantal department. as well as in Aurillac agglomeration.
