Always eager for innovative concepts (if not really expected), Parisian restaurants, which have already given us tacosushi, beef bourguignon on skewers or tapas for €25, have given birth to a new hybridization! Associated with the Moma Group, Franck Delafon, a Lyon restaurateur, had the crazy idea of mixing the two trends of the moment: broth and the festive restaurant. The Casbah at Chartier to summarize.
Installed in the Palais Maillot (in place of Marc Veyrat's Rural), this Grand Banquet features bistro furniture, pennants and classic cards of the exercise. During the week, we promise invigorating products at controlled prices: egg mayonnaise (€3), pureed sausage (€10), veal head (€12.50), crème caramel (€4)… Not expensive for the area.

From Thursday to Friday at 8:30 p.m. (and Sunday noon), it turns into a wedding banquet where you don't know anyone with a huge communal table and a unique menu for €49 (terrine to share with the table, chicken casserole with fries, bowl chocolate mousse and a bottle of wine). While things are going on, a group plays the French classics in heavy rotation on Nostalgie (but there, without advertising or taxi notices), to which you will be able to scream.
