The list of municipalities concerned
The interministerial decree was published in the Official Journal this Tuesday, December 3, five municipalities in Oise obtained recognition as a state of natural disaster. These are:
- Evefor the floods and mudslides that occurred on October 9 and 10, 2024
- Senlisfor the floods and mudslides that occurred on October 13, 2024.
- Thiers-sur-Thèves, for the floods and mudslides that occurred on October 9 and 13, 2024.

“The cumulative precipitation during these events was abnormal over the 10-year reference period,” reports the prefecture in a press release sent this Tuesday, December 3.
Victims have 30 days from the publication of this decree to make their claim declaration to their insurance companies. “Through recognition of the state of natural disaster, the State supports municipalities and individuals affected by disasters and allows compensation for damage directly caused to insured property. In 2024, in Oise, 55 states of natural disasters have been recognized for 50 municipalities,” explains the prefecture.
