Klay Thompson is leaving the Warriors and joining a new team, but which one exactly remains to be seen. LeBron James wants him at the Lakers, and he’s made that known to Adrian Wojnarowski.
Free agency is officially open and teams can finally negotiate with players to find a contractual agreement. Klay Thompson hopes to find what he is looking for on the market, he who will leave the Warriors in the coming days. He’s already talking to several teams, including the Lakers and Mavericks, who are the favorites at this point.

But for several insiders, the Mavs have a head start with heavy pressure from Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving to bring him back to Texas. It would be a major reinforcement for the Texan franchise, but the Angelinos do not want to give up. As soon as free agency opens, LeBron James therefore got involved in person.
