Basil «Bas» Morris Obituary
Basil “Bas” Charles Morris, age 88, passed away peacefully at Rotary Hospice, Stratford on June 30, 2024. Bas is survived by his wife of 61 years Isobel. Father of Deborah (Will) and the late Lisa (1997). Grandfather of Jessica Nielsen (Chris), Michelle Louie and great grandfather of Jace.
Bas was fiercely supportive of his family. Prior to moving to Stratford, his hobby was fishing and he loved his long May weekends at Elephant Lake. Bas loved animals and was caregiver to quite a few.
A family interment will be held at Avondale Cemetery. Memorial donations in Basil’s memory may be made to Rotary Hospice or Project Precious, Haiti. Arrangements entrusted to the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford. www.wgyoungfuneralhome.com
