As the seven-time world champion continues his 11th season at the wheel of Mercedes, the latter is the subject of rumors about a purchase of a MotoGP team. Indeed, Lewis Hamilton could potentially acquire the Gresini team, which includes the Marquez brothers. A member of the latter’s close entourage even met with the management of the Italian team to continue negotiations, during the Assen Grand Prix.

Indeed, the new buyers of the category do not look favorably on the arrival of an F1 legend in Moto GP. Nevertheless, number 44 would be extremely interested in the idea of becoming the new owner of the Ducati satellite team. He who remains a lover of 2 wheels, would finally have the opportunity to set foot in this category, which is still unknown to him.
The purchase of Grésini could therefore make it join a 3e discipline after F1 but, above all, Extreme E, with the X44 team. The Briton therefore already has management experience, which has allowed him to have drivers such as Sébastien Loeb under contract.
