Météo France maintains its storm alert in three departments of Occitanie

The situation is slowly improving on the storm frontaccording to Météo France for Sunday June 30, 2024. Locally, three departments of Occitanieincluding Haute-Garonne, remain on yellow alert.

As a reminder, 28 departments were placed on orange alert in France this Saturday. There will only be fourteen tomorrow.

Around fifty firefighter interventions in Tarn

This Saturday, all departments of Occitanie were placed on yellow alert for storms. In the Tarn, this Saturdaythe firefighters did 54 weather-related interventionsmainly flooding of premises which fortunately did not cause significant damage.

Flood vigilance in three departments

In its vigilance bulletin published at 4 p.m. this Saturday, Météo France maintains the Haute-Garonne, Hautes-Pyrénées and Ariège on yellow alert for thunderstorms for tomorrow Sunday.

Note, the Lot is on yellow alert for floods tomorrow, just like Hérault and Gard.
