Roberto De Zerbi is happy to be at OM
OM made the arrival of the Italian official this Saturday evening Roberto DeZerbi as new coach, with a contract until 2027. Aged 45, De Zerbi will therefore experience a new club after making Sassuolo, Chakhtior Donetsk and Brighton shine. Internally, he does not hide his joy and enthusiasm at the idea of joining OM, emphasizing in particular the importance of the passion of the club’s supporters in his decision.
Where is the transfer of Pau Lopez?
After three seasons spent guarding the OM goal, Pau Lopez will, in all likelihood, leave. The player has a preference for one club: Como, recently promoted to Serie A and coached by a friend of the Spanish goalkeeper, Cesc Fabregas. On the other hand, while the 29-year-old goalkeeper has already reached an agreement with the Italian club, this is not yet the case with OM. To enlist the former AS Roma player, the Italian leaders initially want a loan with a non-obligatory purchase option, while the OM management prefers a permanent transfer or at least a loan with an obligation to buy. Discussions are continuing and there is optimism that a solution will be found that suits all parties.
