31 candidates for Indre-et-Loire, that’s significantly fewer than in the 2022 legislative elections, where there were 15 more.. This drop can be explained by two factors: joint candidacies from several parties and an express campaign. Three weeks between the announcement of the dissolution and the first round was too short, undoubtedly, for certain potential candidates.

In the five constituencies of Indre-et-Loire, the outgoing deputies are representing themselves.

Election evening from 7:50 p.m.

During the 2022 legislative elections, abstention reached 49.08% in the first round in our department. The surge in the number of proxies suggests that there will be more voters this time around. This could also allow three candidates to remain in the second round in some constituencies, whereas there were only duels in 2022.

See you this Sunday, June 30, from 7:50 p.m., on France Bleu Touraine and on francebleu.fr for an election evening with all the results and reactions in Indre-et-Loire.
