A departure at 8:11 a.m. in Calais

The flame will begin its journey this Wednesday, July 3 in Calais, in front of the Totem Calais LA Plage. The Relay will pass in front of the Compagnie du Dragon in front of the Calais lighthouse. It will then pass along the rue Royale, in front of the Hôtel de Ville before reaching the Place Albert 1er in front of the Grand Théâtre with an estimated arrival time of 9:20 a.m.

A 4.29 km route awaits the torchbearers who will pass the flame every 200 meters.

Saint-Omer from 9:30 a.m.

A second stage is planned in Saint-Omer from 9:30 am. At 10 am, sports activities are open to the general public after the arrival of the flame. A short circuit of 970m will start on the Place du Maréchal Foch to go in front of the Notre-Dame-de-Saint-Omer cathedral, which is a monument witness to the Gothic architecture of the old provinces of the north of 13th to 15th century.

We will find flame bearers such as Dorine Caboche, Marcelo Ferioli, Émilie
Bertrand or even Éric Srecki.

The route continues along Rue Sainte-Croix to finish at the Stade Vélodrome Jacques Anqueti around 9:50 a.m.

Meet in Boulogne-sur-Mer from 10:30 a.m.

The first fishing port in France will be the third stop of the day. Over a distance of 4.52km, it is the turn of the city of Boulogne-sur-Mer to welcome the Olympic flame from 10:30 a.m.

The relay begins on the beach of Boulogne-sur-Mer where a collective of 6 porters will represent the French wrestling federation. They will pass in front of Nausicaà. Then, it will take the Boulevard Gambetta which runs along the Port de Plaisance, the Grande Rue, the Boulevard du Prince Albert to pass in front of the Belfry of the Notre-Dame Basilica.

A passage through the Château du Musée d’Aumont to finish at the Stade de la Libération at 11:55 a.m.

Destination Berck-sur-Mer at 12:50 p.m.

At 12:50 p.m., destination Berck-sur-Mer for a relay which will start near the Grande Roue, place de l’Entonnoir. This will continue on rue de l’Impératrice for a passage in front of the Notre-Dame-des-Sables Church, all along avenue du Docteur Cazin.

The relay will pass the Rond-Point du Cottage des Dunes and continue along rue Pierre Guilbert and will end at 1:09 p.m. at the sports park in front of the Senet stand. A distance of 1.04 km for a duration of 20 minutes.

Activities are planned on two sites including the Palais des Sports Stadium and Place de l’Entonnoir with activities, workshops, demonstrations and even sporting challenges.

3:20 p.m.: a fifth stage in Arras

The fifth stage of the day is in Arras for a departure at 3:20 p.m. The relay runners are committed to a 4.75 km course that begins at the Grand Arras nautical stadium along the river port. It will pass on Avenue des Droits de l’Homme, Avenue Paul Michonneau, rue Sainte-Croix in front of the Arras town hall. It will pass in front of the Notre-Dame de l’Assomption cathedral and Saint Vaast.

It will continue along Rue des Agaches to Cours de Verdun, passing through Boulevard Crespel to make a loop and return along Boulevard Vauban, Boulevard Carnot and to the Grand’Place.

Entertainment is set up from 1pm to 4pm on Place Guy Mollet, Place de Marseille, Place des Héros and on the Grand’Place. Throughout the day, you will also find exhibitions and entertainment.

Ohlain Departmental Park at 4:55 p.m.

It is in Maisnil-lès-Ruitz at the Parc d’Olhain that the flame will be visible at 4:55 p.m. A 1.1 km course that will pass by the multi-sport gymnasium and the relay will end at the Belvédère of the park.

Activities and introductions to sporting disciplines will be offered to everyone.

Closing of the relay, Liévin / Lens at 5:38 p.m.

The route begins at the Maison des Sports with a passage to the Arena du Stade Couvert, the torchbearers will travel along rue Jean-Baptiste Defernez, rue Paul Bert with a passage to the Louvre-Lens.

The flame will pass through the Bollaert Delelis stadium, emblem of the Racing club of Lens, to finish on Place Jean Jaurès where Eric Sikora will light the Olympic cauldron.

Entertainment awaits you all along the route with sports workshops, marching bands and even the exit of the museum giants.

At 7:20 p.m., installation of the guard of honor then lighting of the Olympic cauldron. Guard of honor made up of 24 people selected by the Official Committee of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
