All in the water!

Water parks. Aqualand in Fréjus and Saint-Cyr are water parks offering a variety of water slides, swimming pools and attractions suitable for all ages. It’s the perfect place to cool off and have fun during the summer.

Nautical bases. Water Glisse is eight water sports centres from Roquebrune-sur-Argens to Ramatuelle offering a wide range of activities: board sports, water skiing for children, pedal boats, paddle boards, kayaks, sea scooters, boats without a licence and even parasailing! And on the lake side, head to the Saint-Cassien Aventures base!

Sea trips. Embark on a unique ride aboard the Sanary Explorer, the first glass-walled submarine in France! You can explore the depths as well as around twenty underwater species. Would you prefer to stay on deck? Head to the Boatmen of the Côte d’Azur for a guided tour of the Toulon harbor, its historical treasures and, above all, the buildings of
Arsenal War!

Unusual leisure activities

In the mines. Located on the heights of Le Pradet, the Cap Garonne Mine is the only French museum of copper and micro minerals! From the life of miners to the history of rock, take your helmets and dive into the heart of these old copper mines for an incredible guided tour! In Tourves, the Gueules Rouges museum traces the history of bauxite mining in the Var mines, this red dust that baptized the miners, the “Gueules Rouges”.

Sainte-Baume rail bike. On the mountainside, board a pedal car and discover, through an unusual round trip, an old railway line full of charm with its tunnel, viaducts, bridges and old-fashioned station. Twenty-five rail bikes with a maximum of five seats (two pedalers, three passengers), with electric assistance for the return are available. Departure from Pourcieux station to Saint-Maximin station and then return. Please note, reservations are required.

Fresh air

Tree climbing. Formerly Parcabout, the Viking Parc in Montauroux offers original activities: giant nets, treetop adventure courses, mini-golf, forest orienteering, and play structures, not to mention laser tag. Treetop adventures are also available at Coudou Parc in Six-Fours with twenty-three courses and more than 300 games, 1500 meters of zip line in the heart of ten hectares of forest right next to the beach!

Forest of the 4 Worlds in La Seyne. On the edge of the Janas forest, this park offers four worlds: the aerial with 1000 square meters of seas of nets and “cocoon” cabins; the underground with a mysterious giant anthill; the slippery with slides, a giant tower and a sea of nets and the bouncing universe with a world of trampolines and dodgeball.

Aoubre Park in Flassans-sur-Issole. In a 32 hectare forest, this park is unique! The adventure park offers different treetop adventure courses on century-old cedars and several zip lines. The animal park is home to wild boars, deer, donkeys and goats in semi-freedom, not forgetting the small farm (rabbits, sheep, chickens, roosters, goats and peacocks) and the Butterfly Garden. Educational trails are also offered; special mention to the “Barefoot” trail to discover new sensations on various materials.
