what we know about the worrying disappearance of Fadila

This affair is reminiscent of the disappearance of Delphine Jubillar. Here it is now three weeks since Fadila, a 50-year-old from Ariège, has given no sign of life. She suddenly disappeared on November 4. A suspect, one of his friends, was indicted for murder. But he denies any involvement. The only element available to investigators is this call, during which he threatens the fifty-year-old.

For the moment, there is only this conversation recorded on the answering machine of a friend of the missing woman. Fadila must have felt threatened, so she called this friend and left her phone open. And what we hear is very clear. Fadila asks “You’re not going to hurt me François?” “Yes, I will hurt you,” replied a man.

François is a friend. A member of this neo-rural community who lives in the mountains in makeshift dwellings, as there are many near Massat (Ariège). Arrested and indicted for murder, François proclaims his innocence. He doesn't even remember this conversation. But witnesses witnessed an argument between Fadila and François during the weekend which preceded the disappearance.

The two people had known each other for several years. A simply friendly relationship. On the Witches plateau, where the party took place this weekend, a DIY caravan bears seals. It's François's. This former Alpine hunter lives self-sufficiently in this corner of Ariège. In complete discretion, the police continue their investigations. They analyze other elements.

Fadila's friends dare to hope. They organize searches and searches in this very rugged mountain area.
