L’Express des Îles is reviewing its rotation schedule between Martinique, Saint Lucia, Dominica and Guadeloupe. In anticipation of the cyclonic phenomenon announced by Météo France at the end of the weekend, the transport company has modified the schedules of its services from this Saturday, June 29, 2024.

The bad weather announced by Météo France for this weekend, particularly with the approach of the cyclonic phenomenon called “Béryl”, is forcing Expresse des Îles to review the schedule of its services.

From this Saturday, June 29, 2024, passengers whose departure from Saint Lucia was originally scheduled for Monday, July 1, had to board at 7 a.m.

As for the passengers who were expected on the platform on the 1stis July, they are “transferred to Sunday June 30″.

Sunday June 30:

  • Departure from Pointe-à-Pitre towards Dominica and Fort-de-France at 8:00 a.m.;
  • Departure from Dominica to Fort-de-France at 10:30 a.m.;
  • The stopover in Saint Lucia is cancelled and all passengers bound for Castries are transferred to Tuesday 2 July;
  • Departure from Fort-de-France to Dominica and Pointe-à-Pitre at 2:00 p.m.;
  • Departure from Dominica to Pointe-à-Pitre at 4:15 p.m.

Monday July 1:

  • Cancellation of the crossing between Saint Lucia, Fort-de-France, Dominica and Pointe-à-Pitre.

Tuesday July 2:

  • Departure from Pointe-à-Pitre to Dominica, Fort-de-France and Saint Lucia at 1:00 p.m.;
  • Departure from Dominica to Fort-de-France and Saint Lucia at 3:30 p.m.;
  • Departure from Fort-de-France to Saint Lucia at 6:15 p.m.

On its social networks, the transport company thanks users for their “understanding”while the authorities are in “enhanced monitoring”.
