Fearing storms, the organizers of the Poitiers International 3×3 Festival decided to bring forward the final stages of the Poitiers Challenger by a few hours this Saturday.

Victorious in this tournament of the second level of the world circuit in 2023, the Chinese team of Hangzhou, in which Serbian players play, lost in the semi-final against the Austrians of Vienna (21-14), 4e world team and number 1 seed in the competition.

A suspenseful finale

In the other semi-final, the Serbs of Liman, ranked 8es in the world ranking and seeded No. 3, defeated Riffa (21-17).

The final, between Vienna and Liman, kept all its promises while being indecisive until the end. While the Austrian Enis Murati brought Vienna back to the level of a superb winner (20-20), the Serbian Dusan Popovic, very well served by Stephan Kojic, offered victory to his team (20-21).

The only French team present in the final phase, Bordeaux with Antoine Eito in its ranks was knocked out by Vienna in the quarter-final (19-12) and ranks 8e from the Poitevin meeting.
