The Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games are fast approaching. A few weeks agoCharlene and Albert II of Monaco carried the Olympic flame, before attending a new event, this Thursday, June 27. The princely couple was expected at the Monaco Yacht Club for the official presentation of the athletes representing the principality during Olympic Games from Paris. Arriving at the venue hand in hand, Jacques and Gabriella’s parents caused a sensation in outfits coordinated with the colours of the Monegasque flag.

Charlene of Monaco was dressed in a white suit set consisting of flowing pants and a closed blazer jacket. She wore a pair of silver heeled pumps and wore her hair in a bun. Prince Albert II of Monaco, for his part, also opted for white pants which he combined with a red jacket and a striped tie. For Charlène as for the Monegasque prince, the Olympic Games are a sporting competition which is very close to their hearts since it was during the Turin Olympic Games in 2006 that they made their relationship official. “The history of my family and that of my relationship with Princess Charlene are obviously linked to the Games. I will be there for those in Paris and, with the princess, we will go encourage the athletes of the principality and follow swimming competitions and athletics”(…)
