This Saturday, June 29, 2024, at around 11:30 a.m., a man armed with a knife burst into a gold buying store in downtown Rennes (Ille-et-Vilaine). The injured employee of the store was taken care of by emergency services. The perpetrator fled.

This Saturday, June 29, 2024, a man, armed with a knife, burst into a gold and silver purchasing store, rue Tronjolly, near the Colombia shopping center, in the city center of Rennes (Ille -et-Vilaine), to commit theft.
He threatened the only employee of the shop. Injured and in a state of shock, the shopkeeper was then taken care of by emergency services and taken to hospital.
The perpetrator is still being sought
The perpetrator fled. The loot exhibitor is not known. The police quickly went to the scene to collect initial evidence and find possible witnesses. Forensic experts were also on site.
An investigation is underway to find the author.
