A little over a week ago, a serious road accident took place on the RD988 in Gaillac (Tarn), causing the death of five young people aged 16 to 20.
As indicated by our colleagues on the site Actu.frthe five victims have all been identified since last Thursday following autopsies which took place at the Toulouse forensic institute. While waiting for many days, families will be able to organize the funerals of their loved ones and begin their mourning work.
An open jackpot
Just a few hours after this tragedy, the precise circumstances of which have yet to be clarified by the police, a fundraiser was opened to support the families of Imrane, Youssef, Anis, Lorenzo and Pablo and to help them organize the funeral. It already amounts to more than 13,000 euros.
While the funeral is being organized, Gaillac town hall has already indicated that a municipal tribute will be paid to the victims during the week. For its part, the Albi public prosecutor's office announced the opening of an investigation to understand the causes of this road accident in which only one vehicle would a priori be involved. We will therefore have to wait to better understand this tragic event.
