This is the number of votes cast within the framework of the 4th edition of the participatory budget of the Ville de LilleIt was the people of Lille, Lomme and Hellemmois who voted, from May 15 to June 15, 2024, to select their favorite ideas from among the 70 projects selected by the jury.

Thanks to dedicated budget of 4 million euros, 32 winning ideasincluding 11 carried by children, will be carried out. Sports and health trails, trampolines for all, plant labyrinths, creation of micro-oases, planting of fruit trees are among the popular projects.

Games and sports facilities

  • Trampolines for all: Installation of trampolines accessible to all in municipal parks.
  • Have fun with the installation of zip lines: Installation of zip lines with free access and outdoors in the city’s parks.
  • Ninja WarLomme!: Creation of a sports course, a “Ninja Warrior” type course, outdoors.
  • Climbing for all: Installation of climbing walls or blocks suitable for all ages in municipal parks.
  • Multi-sports grounds: Creation of more outdoor multi-sports spaces in the districts of Lille, Hellemmes and Lomme
  • Creation of a roller skating track: Creation of a ring track dedicated to the practice of roller skating and in particular speed skating.
  • Creation of a mini-golf course: Creation of a free-access mini-golf course, accessible to all ages.
  • Let’s play football together: Renovation of the football field located in Barbusse Park.
  • Free access to basketball: Creation of basketball courts allowing the free practice of basketball in the city.
  • Ping-pong party: Installation of ping-pong tables in different parks in the city to encourage exchanges between residents and promote sports practice.
  • Creation of outdoor sports equipment: Install outdoor sports modules with free access for legs, glutes, abdominals, back, arms, pectorals and stretching
  • Health sports course: Creation of a dynamic health course by arranging fitness equipment to encourage outdoor physical activity.
  • Sports container: Installation of containers allowing the provision of sports equipment around Lille parks, thus facilitating the practice of outdoor sports games.
  • TeqFoot and TeqVoly: Installation of curved Ping-Pong tables for playing TekBall and TekVoly: football or volleyball on a table tennis table.
  • An athletics track with ground markings: Creation of an athletics post with ground markings to encourage sports practice.

More nature and new features in the parks

  • Plant maze: Creation of a plant maze.
  • Relaxing in the city: Creating relaxation areas in parks with deckchairs or hammocks to encourage reading and quiet activities.
  • Swings in parks: Installation of swings in municipal parks.
  • Plant more fruit trees: Develop plantations of edible fruit trees and shrubs to green public spaces.
  • Nest boxes and bird feeders: Installation of nest boxes and bird feeders on city trees to attract different species of birds.
  • Installation of picnic tables: Installation of picnic tables in city parks.
  • More slides and games in parks: Creating spaces and infrastructure for children to play and climb.
  • Barefoot trail: Creation of a sensory walking path made up of different materials and passable barefoot.
  • For toddlers, happiness is in the garden! Transformation of the Jardin des Olieux (Moulins) to better respond to the uses of this park by residents.
  • Renovation of Square Ravel-Debussy: Renovation of Square Ravel-Debussy by greening it, installing one or more inclusive games and modernizing the “City Stadium”.

City developments

  • Installation of seats and benches: Installation of different types of seating in the city to promote links between residents.
  • Micro-oases to cool urban spaces in Lille: Design and manufacture of micro-developments (wooden and vegetated structure modules) to counter heat island phenomena and limit the effects of heatwaves.
  • Motion sensor street lights: Installation of motion sensor street lights in the city, powered by solar energy.

Of the culture

  • More manga: Increase in the share of manga in municipal library catalogs.
  • Historical interactive panels at child height: Installation of explanatory panels of the heritage of Lille, Hellemmes and Lomme (buildings, street names, works, etc.).
  • Cultural and sporting maze: Rethink the Dondaines park maze by increasing its difficulty and integrating cultural and sporting puzzles.
  • Musiparc: Installation of musical instruments in municipal parks.
