The French volleyball team managed to reach the semi-final of the Nations League, not without fighting, by beating Italy (3-2) in the quarter-finals on Friday June 28. To reach the final, the Blues will face Poland, host country and title holder of the competition, Saturday June 29, 2024.

It was tough, but the French volleyball team did it: they reached the semi-final of the Nations League by overcoming Italy, which showed up with a “second” team that sold its skin dearly (3-2). The objective set by Andrea Giani’s coach has therefore been achieved, and his Tricolores are therefore going into the semi-final with a light heart. And with the objective of gaining confidence less than a month away from the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

But to reach the final, the Blues will have to move a mountain: Poland, defending champion and in front of 12,000 spectators expected in Lodz. The world number one selection dismissed Brazil (3-1) on Thursday June 27 and therefore benefits from one more day of recovery.
