On the eve of the vote for the first round of the early legislative elections, which will take place on Sunday June 30, 2024, here is the list of 176 candidates who are running in the 13 constituencies of the Hauts-de-Seine department.

NB: Political colour categorisations are based on information published by the Ministry of the Interior.

1st constituency

Territory of the 1st constituency: cantons of Colombes Nord-Est, Colombes Nord-Ouest, Gennevilliers Nord, Gennevilliers Sud, Villeneuve-la-Garenne.

Nine candidates are campaigning to succeed outgoing MP Elsa Faucillon (PCF), herself a candidate for her own re-election.

Five candidates campaigned to succeed the outgoing MP Philippe Juvin (LR). The latter is a candidate for his own re-election, within the framework of the pact concluded between the presidential party and the local right, favoring the strategy of “the republican arc against the extremes.”

Elected deputy (Renaissance) in 2022, she gave up her seat to her deputy Virginie Lanlo on July 20, 2023 after being named minister responsible for Democratic Renewal and government spokesperson. The minister is again a candidate in the 8th constituency in 2024.

Territory of the 9th constituency: Boulogne-Billancourt North-East, Boulogne-Billancourt North-West, Boulogne-Billancourt South (part located to the north of a line defined by the axis of the following roads: rue Yves-Kermen, avenue Pierre-Grenier, boulevard de la République to the Pont d’Issy).

Eight candidates are running to try to succeed Emmanuel Pellerin (Renaissance), whose term in the National Assembly was stormy. Accused of having consumed cocaine, before and after his election – which he admitted – the deputy had been withdrawn. After a dismissal without follow-up, he had returned to the ranks of the hemicycle. After announcing his candidacy for re-election on X, the former deputy had finally retracted, the Renaissance party preferring to invest Stéphane SéjournéMinister of Foreign Affairs.

Nine candidates are running in this constituency, which was won by the current Prime Minister Gabriel Attal. When he was appointed, the latter left his seat to his substitute Renaissance Claire Guichard. He is once again a candidate.
